Leave the regular lemonade for the kids and mix up this Lynchburg Lemonade for your next BBQ. This Jack Daniels-spiked lemonade that is surprisingly smooth, with just a little bit of whiskey kick!
Why this recipe is so famous
The $13 million Lynchburg Lemonade cocktail was subject to a huge lawsuit back in the ’80s when Jack Daniel’s first started promoting it – which solidified this cocktail’s place in pop culture. Who doesn’t want to try the cocktail that was the subject of a $13 million lawsuit?!

It’s kind of the cocktail equivalent to that Neiman Marcus cookie recipe that comes around in chain letters every once in a while.
While this cocktail won’t cost you $13 million, it will sneak up on you like it’s smooth-talking Eastern cousin, the Long Island Iced Tea.
This sweet lemonade cocktail is perfect for serving at summer backyard parties – or just mix up a glass for a refreshing summer drink on the porch.

I live in Canada. Jack Daniels is
available here but I prefer Gibson
Canadian Rye. Thanks for including
both pitcher & individual recipes.
Enjoy your summer.

Thank you for including a recipe to make a pitcher full. I argue that one should use lemonade instead of lemon/lime soda because a bartender in TN told me to use lemonade (seems legit to me). Great recipe!
