LEMONS – We’re tossing in 5-6 whole lemons, with the piths and seeds removed. Yes, you will be keeping the skin/peel on the lemon. They contain lots of vitamins and nutrients, plus, you’ll be straining the excess pulp.
WATER – Because the consistency of the drink will already be pretty thick, we’re using water. This will help loosen it up a bit. You’ll also be adding a bit of ice to the blender for a thicker, frostier lemonade.
SWEETENER – If you do not have agave nectar, you can use simple syrup, honey, or even regular granulated sugar in its place. Always taste for sweetness as you go.
