With just 4 ingredients, and a quick run through with a mixer, and you’ll be dipping into this amazing peanut butter apple dip! Chances are you have all the ingredients in your refrigerator and pantry already.
Why this recipe works
For quite a few years I’ve been making this peanut butter apple dip that my kids beg me for. Anyone that tries it wants the recipe.
It’s super easy using cream cheese, peanut butter, brown sugar, and milk. Perfect for dipping apples, spreading on graham crackers or (shhh) just having a spoonful!
It’s a great way for kids to enjoy apples, similar to this Cream Cheese Fruit Dip, they won’t even realize they are getting their fruits in!
Ingredients you will need
If you don’t have one of these handy apple slicers you might want to get one. Just the apple slicer alone gets the kids to eat more fruit.

Expert Tips & FAQs
- This peanut butter dip is perfect for sliced apples, but it’s also good with pears and even strawberries. I’ve spread it onto graham crackers before, and even been known to dip in with a vanilla wafer cookie.
- This sweet dip refrigerates well too. In fact, it’s consistency improves once it has had a chance to rest and the sugar granules have melted.
- It transports well and is great for potlucks and backyard parties. Just store it in a plastic container with a lid and it will travel just fine.
- To keep your apple slices from browning, sprinkle them with lemon juice and toss to coat.
I’ve been making this dip for well over a decade. It’s definitely full of sugar, and should be consumed in moderation. But it’s a fun, sweet addition to any potluck or party table.

Turned out delicious! I only had natural peanut butter which sometimes isn’t great in recipes, but this was perfect and so easy. Thank you!

It was great! I modified portions and a few other things. Large spoonful of whipped cream cheese. Large spoonful of sun butter and brown sugar. Microwaved for 15 sec. Whisked. Then whacked in milk. It was supper yummy for a quick late night treat. With minimal clean up! Those were the ingredients I had similar to recipe. Loved it and so yummy!

Really like the recipe, but I need to use less brown sugar. Gonna try using 1/2 cup instead.
