This Valentine’s Mudslide adds fresh strawberries into the mix for a fruity take on a frozen cocktail classic. You can make this for your sweetie as a way of saying I love you on Valentine’s Day! One of my favorite drinks is a White Russian so when I discovered the Mudslide – which is essentially a White Russian with Bailey’s and ice cream added in – I was in cocktail heaven!
Valentine’s Mudslide Recipe
This Valentine’s Mudslide recipe is a creamy, frozen cocktail perfect for serving alongside or as dessert.
The cocktail starts off strong with a Kahlua and vodka-infused milkshake and finishes of Irish cream-spiked strawberry milkshake for a fun twist on enjoying strawberries & cream for Valentine’s Day.
I lucked out and found a delicious Haagen-Dazs White Russian Ice Cream to replace the vanilla ice cream in this version, but you can use coffee ice cream, strawberry ice cream – really whatever type of ice cream you’d love in a creamy cocktail. (If you don’t know by now, I love adding ice cream to my cocktails!)
If you want a slightly less strong drink, you can swap out the Bailey’s Irish Cream for coffee cream (preferably 10% milk fat) or reduce all of the alcohol by half and add just enough coffee cream to blend. Either way, you’re guaranteed to be in for a frozen and tasty treat!
