This 5 minute homemade Orange Julius recipe couldn’t be easier to make. It’s a frosty creamsicle dream in a cup. Just blend, pour, and sip!
Why this recipe works
An orange Julius is a creamsicle-like frothy concoction that really hits the spot on a hot summer day. This frosted citrus drink is somewhere in between vanilla orange punch and a fruit smoothie. It tastes like a sippable creamsicle popsicle, and if you have yet to try one yourself, you won’t be disappointed!
This recipe only requires ice cubes, frozen orange juice concentrate, milk, sugar, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. Simply pour it all into a blender and blitz until it reaches your desired consistency and enjoy!

Ingredient Info and Substitution Suggestions
JUICE – You will need a can of orange juice concentrate. If you are unable to find it at the store you can easily make your own at home by pouring fresh orange juice into an ice cube tray, then freezing. Feel free to use a different concentrate for whichever flavor frosted drink you’d like. Pineapple or lemonade would be delicious!
SUGAR – Aside from granulated sugar, we are also using powdered sugar (also known as icing sugar or confectioners sugar) which will help make your drink frothy instead of having to use raw eggs which many recipes call for.
ICE – Taste and adjust as you go with the ice. We’ve provided a base for how much ice to use in your orange Julius, and have found that this is our favorite consistency. However, you can add extra ice if desired for even thicker, frostier texture.
