This cherry peach slushie recipe combines sparkling water, simple syrup, frozen cherries and peaches, and crushed ice to make a cool and refreshing summer drink!
Why this recipe works
While technically we’re calling this a summer drink, this cherry peach slushie can be enjoyed all year long. Want to know what’s even better? You can easily sub out the sparkling water with a spiked seltzer for an adult-friendly boozy slushie!
Slushies are great for kids and adults alike on a hot summer day. You can even throw some ice cream into the mix to make your own homemade slushie floats.

FRUIT – Frozen peaches and frozen cherries can be found in the freezer section of your local grocery store. Using frozen fruit for this drink is your best course of action as it adds to the slush factor!
SODA – Some call it soda water or club soda, and others may call is sparkling water. All in all, it’s carbonated water and that’s what we’ll be using today.
SIMPLE SYRUP – Feel free to use your own simple syrup recipe as it’s quick and easy to make, or grab a premade bottle from the store.
How to Make A Cherry Peach Slushie

- Remove the pit from the cherries.
- Put your pitted cherries into a blender and add 1 tbsp of the simple syrup, 1 cup of sparkling water, half of the lemon juice (reserve the other half for step 2), and 1 cup of crushed ice.
- Blend all the ingredients and set them aside in a bowl.
- Put the chopped peaches into the blender. Add 1 tbsp of the simple syrup, half of the lemon juice, 1 cup of sparkling water, and 1 cup of crushed ice. Blend all the ingredients and put the mixture in a bowl.
- Put the two bowls in the freezer and chill for 30 or 60 minutes. When it begins to turn into ice, scrape the mixtures with a fork and freeze again for 30 or 60 minutes. Repeat the process one or two times more.
- Assemble by layering the slushie mixture in a glass.
