Cranberry Sangria Recipe
Sangrias are wonderful for not only infusing wine with delicious fruity notes, but they are also a great prep-ahead recipe that can allow you to serve specialty drinks to your guests without having to stop what you’re doing and mix a cocktail each time.
Sangrias are best about an hour before they need to be served, to give the wine a chance to breathe and the fruits a chance to infuse that wine with some extra flavor.
Ingredients Needed for Cranberry Sangria
- 1 (750 ml) bottle of fruity red wine (like Zinfandel, or a red Moscato if you want it sweeter)
- 2 cups fresh cranberries
- 2 medium oranges
- 1/2 cup simple syrup
- 1/2 cup pulp-free orange juice
- 1 1/2 cups cranberry juice
- 1/2 cup Triple Sec
