I’ve been so busy with work that I haven’t been able to participate in Tuesdays With Dorie for a few weeks. I’ve finally gotten into a good swing I think and was able to make this week’s recipe, Grandma’s All-Occasion Sugar Cookies, chosen by Ulrike of Kuchenlatein.
- slice and bake: half I used some leftover Caramel Icing from my pumpkin cookies. YUM, these were my favorite. The other half I drizzled with confectioner’s glaze and sprinkled them.
- shapes from cookie cutters: I tinted some leftover cream cheese frosting I had from a flopped apple cake recipe I never posted (LOL) with green, red and blue food coloring. Spread that on the shapes and sprinkled.
- rolled balls: these turned out great. All I had to do with these was transfer to the cooling rack :)
