ICE CREAM – Vanilla ice cream is used, as per traditional ice cream floats.
SODA – Club soda gives this drink the bubbly carbonated zing.
SIMPLE SYRUP – Regular store-bought simple syrup works to add flavor and sweetness to your float. You could try the strawberry simple syrup we use in our Strawberry Sweet Tea post too if you’d like to kick it up a notch. If you are not a fan of simple syrup, try honey in its place.

- Remove the tops of the strawberries, put them into a blender.
- Cut the bananas into pieces and add to the blender.
- Add the simple syrup and a 1/2 cup of soda. Blend.
- Fill 3 or 4 glasses with the banana and strawberry mixture, up to a third of each glass.
