Air fryer bacon wrapped asparagus are crisp yet tender and take just 11 minutes to cook. Perfect as a low-carb party appetizer or dinner side!
Why this recipe works
Air fryer asparagus is already one of our favorite dinner sides to quickly cook up. However, when you wrap it in crisp, savory bacon, you get a delicious appetizer that can be served at football games, BBQ’s, potlucks, or dinner parties. On top of that, making air fryer bacon wrapped asparagus is super easy and only takes under 20 minutes from start to finish. It’s fun to pair with our bacon wrapped scallops for a party!

ASPARAGUS – Bundles of 4 or 5 smaller asparagus will be wrapped with one slice of bacon. This recipe calls for multiple spears of asparagus per bacon so the bacon isn’t overpowering. If you are using larger stalks of asparagus, feel free to try one to two stalks per bacon slice.
BACON – Standard bacon or thick cut bacon both work well. We like to use regular bacon as it produces a nice crisp shell with a little bit of a crunch and bakes up beautifully in the air fryer. Thicker cut bacon may need longer to cook in the air fryer, and turkey bacon will take less time. Be sure to check on your asparagus in the air fryer for doneness if you plan to substitute.
