This Strawberry Banana Smoothie is a classic flavor that’s both healthy and delicious. Packed with strawberries and bananas and some milk, it’s all you need for the perfect smoothie. In the summer we love to make strawberry banana popsicles too!
Strawberry Banana Smoothie Recipe
Sweet without the sugar, creamy without the cream. This smoothie favorite is simple, pure, and so delicious. And today, we’re blending it up.
Smoothie Tips
- We use frozen fruit rather than ice. While ice is nice in adding instant chill and bulk to smoothies, I’ve found that it makes them too watery and difficult to blend smoothly.
- We’re using frozen strawberries for their convenience and cost efficiency, but you can also peel, chop, and freeze your bananas ahead of time for smoothies. I like to do this with my soon-to-go-bad bananas.
Ingredients for a Strawberry Banana Smoothie
- 1 cup frozen strawberries
- 1 banana
- ½ cup milk

I made it and it tastes great! I recommend adding a bit of ice for a less of a thicker consistency and to make the smoothie cooler.

These smoothies are excellent. If you have the taste for it, milk kefir or yogurt is good in place of the milk too. Can’t wait for spring for all the fresh fruits. Thank you.
