This quick and easy 3 ingredient spiked limeade is a refreshing cocktail for a hot summer day that comes together in just 5 minutes.
Why this recipe works
This whiskey lemon drink consists of Seagram’s 7 whiskey, lemon-lime soda, limeade, and a garnish of sliced lime or lemon. We always love a simple cocktail recipe that’s made in a snap, especially when you have guests over.

SODA – Today we’re using Sierra Mist, however, similar to a classic seven and seven cocktail, you can use 7 Up or any lemon-lime soda you prefer.
WHISKEY – Our first choice when it comes to whiskey in this recipe is Seagram’s 7. Feel free to substitute for Canadian whiskey if preferred.

Frequently Asked Questions
You can multiply the recipe to make it by the pitcher if desired, but we have found that it tastes better when you make each glass fresh. The soda tends to get a little flat otherwise. If you do plan to make it ahead, save the lemon-lime soda for just before you serve.
A shaker is not required, a spoon can be used to stir the drink instead.
With the light bite of citrus, the spice of whiskey, and the carbonation of the lemon-lime soda, this spiked limeade pulls together beautifully and makes a great cocktail to enjoy in the heat of summer.

When you mention limeade do you mean lime juice as I notice you have limes in the picture? If not, what limeade do you use? Or how do you make it?
Amanda Formaro says
Hi Deborah! In this recipe we are using purchased Limeade. We like the Simply brand which is available at most grocery stores! Here’s a link for reference https://shopstyle.it/l/btKUm
