Absolutely! Adding chocolate chips to this recipe is easy and makes for an even more delicious cookie. I would recommend half chocolate chips and half Reese’s pieces – so that would be 3/4 cup chocolate chips and 3/4 cup Reese’s pieces.
These cookies will keep for 3-4 days when stored in an air-tight container kept at room temperature.
Yes, this dough freezes well. Prepare and roll the dough balls on a baking sheet, then place the baking sheet in the freezer to flash freeze. After about an hour or two, once dough balls are frozen, remove them from the baking sheet and place them in a large ziptop bag and store them in the freezer for 3 months. When ready to bake, simply remove the dough balls from the freezer and allow them to sit at room temperature while the oven is preheating. Bake according to instructions.

FIVE STARS! The cookies were soft and, if eaten fresh from the oven, the Reeses melted in your mouth! Made this for a party and added in the Reeses by hand was the only thing I changed. Putting in the Reeses Pieces so that it looked like a smiley face made it have a more cute look to it. Overall. I LOVE THESE.
