Ingredient Info and Substitution Suggestions
GREEN GOO – Cold water, cornstarch, corn syrup, fresh lime juice, fresh lime zest, and green gel food coloring is simmered and cooked together. Don’t skip out on the green goo, it’s super easy to make and takes under 5 minutes to make. The goo really ties together the whole drink and adds that beautiful green color reminiscent of Frankenstein. The green goo will yield about 1 cup – which is enough for 5 syringes with 1 1/2 oz in each. You will only need 1 syringe per cocktail, unless you’d like an extra for garnish.
MARGARITA – The recipe card below provides measurements for one margarita. Simply double or triple the ingredients to make more. Silver, blanco, or white tequila is needed – you want it to be clear.

Frequently Asked Questions & Expert Tips
No, you do not have to add the green goo, but I highly suggest it as it gives the cocktail that bright green color. The goo is part of this cocktail recipe and is directly added to the margarita itself.
Serving Suggestions
There’s nothing too crazy about this Frankenstein margarita, except for its fun presentation so go ahead and enjoy it as you’d enjoy any other margarita with some appetizers or dinner. Add an extra shot of green goo with your cocktails in a plastic syringe. If you’d rather have a sugar rim, try black sugar.
