These Strawberry Banana Popsicles are a delicious, creamy treat that are easy to make and perfect for keeping in the freezer all summer!
It’s like having our fresh strawberry banana smoothie in a dessert pop!
Strawberry Banana Popsicles
Tis the season for popsicles! And if you think you need to run to the store in order to enjoy an icy treat, well you my friend, would be wrong. Making your own homemade popsicles is so easy, delicious, and healthy! As a rule of thumb, any good smoothie makes a great popsicle. So today we’re transforming one of the most classic smoothies into creamy, icy treats…Strawberry Banana Popsicles!
To make these Strawberry Banana Popsicles you’ll need:
- 1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and quartered
- 2 ripe bananas
- ½ cup yogurt (plain, vanilla, or strawberry)
- 2 Tbsp honey or sugar
Kitchen tools you may find useful:
Making these homemade popsicles is as simple as blending everything together, pouring into popsicle molds, and letting it all freeze! Be sure to use ripe fruit, which will naturally have the sweetest taste. You’re also welcome to use any yogurt you prefer or have on hand (vanilla, strawberry, plain…it all works here!)
You can also adjust the honey amount to suit your taste. Taste the mixture after blending and add more as needed (hint: the taste will be less intense when frozen, so don’t be afraid to add a little more than you think you’ll need).
