Pumpkin Spice Hot Chocolate Recipe
Forget PSLs, this Pumpkin Spice Hot Chocolate is the hot new fall drink that you’ll want to cozy up with!
My daughter loves all things pumpkin-spiced (like our pumpkin pie no-churn ice cream or our pumpkin spice cookies), but she’s a bit young for the PSL trend, so I wanted to make a hot pumpkin spiced drink that she could enjoy, too.
Our Pumpkin Spiced Hot Chocolate made with real chocolate and milk is a creamy and delicious treat perfect for warming up on a brisk fall day. You can make them two at a time, or make a large batch for a party!
You could even prep and bring along in a thermos if you have some fun fall activities you’re heading to. Pumpkin Spice Hot Chocolate at the pumpkin patch?
I like to make my own pumpkin spice blend with 3 tablespoons ground cinnamon, 2 teaspoons ground ginger, 2 teaspoons ground nutmeg, 1 ½ teaspoon ground allspice and 1 ½ teaspoon ground cloves. I add it all to a small mason jar and give it a good stir or shake.
Of course, you can adjust the seasoning amounts to your personal preference – I tend to actually double the cinnamon because it’s my favorite, but I wanted to give you a more accurate recipe for a traditional pumpkin spice blend.
