A delicious cocktail for fall, this Pumpkin Pie Martini has all of the flavors of a pumpkin pie – in a glass!
Pumpkin Pie Martini
When concocting your own perfect Pumpkin Pie cocktail, there are a few tweaks that you can make to this recipe that’ll truly make it your own.
I love a hint of cocoa and maple in my pumpkin pie, so I used creme de cocoa as the second liquor, maple syrup to sweeten, and maple sugar on the rim. However, the chocolate liqueur can be swapped out for a dark rum or coffee-based liqueur like Kahlua – especially if you love a cup of coffee with your pie!
And, while I used maple sugar for a sweet sugar rim on the martini glass, you could alternatively use crushed up graham crackers for a fun take on the pie theme, or some fun fall-colored sugar crystals. Honey, sugar, agave, or simple syrup can be used to sweeten.
(I’m Canadian so I have a bit of a thing for adding maple to everything – like my Brown Butter Cupcakes with Maple Frosting or my Hibiscus Maple Ice Tea.)
So, be sure to keep the flavors of your favorite pumpkin pie recipe in mind while adjusting this recipe – and don’t forget the pumpkin spice!
