Ingredient Info and Substitution Suggestions
PUMPKIN – You want unsweetened pumpkin puree, NOT pumpkin pie filling.
CREAM CHEESE – The cream cheese will make this dip extra thick and taste like a pumpkin cheesecake. Swoon. Make sure you allow your cream cheese to soften at room temperature before mixing. This will help avoid any lumps and make your dip creamy and smooth. To do so, cube the cream cheese and set it on a plate. Allow it to rest and come to room temperature for around 20-25 minutes.

Made this dip for my bible study group. Was so yummy like pumpkin pie without the crust! I did not have cream cheese so left it out! Next time I will try with the cream cheese. Would be good in a trifle too!
