Ingredient Info and Substitution Suggestions
LIQUOR – We use vanilla vodka for this recipe, though you can substitute it with cake vodka, whipped cream vodka, or regular vodka if you’d prefer.
JUICE – Make sure to get a pineapple juice that has good clarity. You don’t want pulp in this shooter so you can see the layers perfectly.

This recipe doesn’t make sense only calling for an ounce of pineapple uice, Same with the nutrition info.

Hi, Amanda,
Is there an alcohol free version of this recipe? I don’t like the taste of alcohol, especially when I am taking prescription medications.
Happy Holidays & thank you for your help and time.
Amanda Formaro says
Hi Michelle. This is actually a shot, which is an alcoholic drink. I suppose you could leave out the alcohol, grenadine is just a red sugar syrup.
Delaina says
Michelle, I think you could use pineapple juice, vanilla syrup and grenadine.
