Mango Lassi Smoothie
I’ve always loved Indian food but thought it wasn’t something easily made at home. Like it’s just so tasty and flavorful, I didn’t think I could do it justice in my own kitchen.
Then last week I tried my hand at chicken tikka masala and…it was so good! And don’t even get me started on the Indian Mango Chutney. Safe to say I’m now on an Indian food kick and will be making ALL OF IT. Starting with what is probably the most classic (and easy) Indian recipe, this Mango Lassi Smoothie!

To make this Mango Lassi Smoothie you’ll need:
- 1 cup chopped mango
- ½ cup plain yogurt
- ½ cup milk
- 2 Tbsp honey or sugar
- Pinch of cinnamon or cardamom
Kitchen tools you may find useful:

What is a mango lassi? At its core, it’s a milkshake or smoothie with yogurt and mango! The rest is pretty flexible. Easily add spices, like cardamom or cinnamon. You can use your favorite kind of yogurt, from low-fat plain to thick Greek yogurt. You can even change up the mango, using fresh, frozen, or canned.
What I’m saying is, this Mango Lassi Smoothie is ridiculously easy to make and you need it in your life.

The recipes on this blog are tested with a conventional gas oven and gas stovetop. It's important to note that some ovens, especially as they age, can cook and bake inconsistently. Using an inexpensive oven thermometer can assure you that your oven is truly heating to the proper temperature. If you use a toaster oven or countertop oven, please keep in mind that they may not distribute heat the same as a conventional full sized oven and you may need to adjust your cooking/baking times. In the case of recipes made with a pressure cooker, air fryer, slow cooker, or other appliance, a link to the appliances we use is listed within each respective recipe. For baking recipes where measurements are given by weight, please note that results may not be the same if cups are used instead, and we can’t guarantee success with that method.
