SEASONINGS– We’re using paprika, garlic salt, and marjoram for the seasoning on these chicken thighs but feel free to add whatever you like best to the mix. Red pepper flakes, parmesan, Italian seasonings, chili powder, oregano, and rosemary are other great options.
CHICKEN– This recipe uses bone-in skin-on chicken thighs. Bone-in chicken tends to have a lot more flavor than boneless does. The best part of skin-on poultry is that the skin cooks to a crispy golden brown. If you decide to use boneless chicken instead, adjust the cook time to 15-18 minutes. The internal temperature should read 165F.

Frequently Asked Questions
You should preheat the air fryer for the same reason you would preheat your conventional oven. The nice thing about air fryers is that they only take 2-3 minutes to preheat depending on the brand. It’s much quicker than a conventional oven.
We advise against stacking in the air fryer as an air fryer needs circulation. You should be able to fit all 4 thighs into your air fryer, but some smaller models may fit less. Be sure to leave space between the thighs when air frying.
To reheat chicken thighs in the air fryer, simply preheat to 350 degrees F and cook for 4 minutes or until thoroughly reheated.
We recommend flipping your chicken thighs in the air fryer as it allows the air fryer to cook the meat evenly. We are using skin-on chicken thighs, which will result in a nice crispy skin by flipping the chicken part way through.
We’re suckers for a good baked mac and cheese, roasted potatoes, or roasted asparagus as sides for chicken thighs.
These juicy air fryer chicken thighs are easy to make, cook in half the time, and turn out crispy and tender. Perfect for a quick weeknight dinner!
