Making air fryer bagels is so easy and takes less than 20 minutes! There are only 5 simple ingredients needed to make these deliciously fun bagels.

The traditional way to make bagels is a long process involving yeast, proofing and rising. This simple recipe for making bagels in the air fryer is a lot easier and doesn’t take long at all!
This recipe makes 4 bagels, but you can increase it if you have more mouths to feed.

- In a large bowl combine flour, baking powder, and salt. Whisk to combine.
- Add yogurt to the dry ingredients and mix as well as you can in the bowl before turning it out onto a piece of parchment paper or the counter.
- Knead a few times until the dough completely comes together.
- Separate dough into four equal sized balls and turn out onto a lightly floured piece of parchment paper.
- Using floured hands form the balls of dough into patties.
- Insert your thumb into the middle of each patty of dough to create a center hole.
- Simultaneously squeeze and rotate the dough, increasing the inner hole and creating an “o” shape.
- Air fry at 300F for 6 minutes.
- Brush the bagels in the air fryer with egg wash and sprinkle with your desired toppings.
- Return basket to the air fryer and allow to cook an additional 9-12 minutes (for a total of 15-18 minutes).

Hi! Do you heat up your air fryer first and then put the bagels in? Or prep bagels and put in basket and then heat up air fryer?

Hello! As the printable recipe states there’s no need to preheat the air fryer. Air fry at 300F for 6 minutes.
