Float away to blissful paradise with a sip or two of Jamaican mule. This tropical mule takes only 3 ingredients – Jamaican rum, ginger beer, and lime juice creating funky fun flavors throughout.
Why this recipe works
A tropical twist on a fizzy Moscow mule, this Jamaican mule highlights Jamaica’s “funky” bold-flavored rum with a splash of lime juice and carbonated ginger beer to pull in some sweetness. This Caribbean cocktail is simple in nature but hits with full-bodied flavors and tiki cocktail vibes.

Ingredient Info and Substitution Suggestions
RUM – We used Appleton Estate Signature Blend Jamaican Rum, but you can use your favorite Jamaican rum.
BEER – The ginger beer adds carbonation and a bit of sweet tanginess. Go with your favorite brand.
LIME – Although we are partial to fresh lime juice for the brightest flavor, you can certainly use bottled lime juice instead. One lime yields about 1 ounce of juice (2 Tablespoons), which means you will only need one lime to make this drink with enough juice for a second!
