Chocolate liqueur and peppermint schnapps come together in chocolate mint covered shot glasses for a delicious dessert cocktail. Ideal for Christmas and St. Patrick’s Day parties!
Why this recipe works
Who doesn’t love a dessert cocktail, especially when it’s in miniature form? Chocolate liqueur is one of our favorite decadent alcohols, and everyone loves it.
The addition of mint from both the peppermint schnapps and the Oreo thin mint cookies makes these a festive treat for both St. Patrick’s Day and Christmas.

CHOCOLATE LIQUEUR – If you have a favorite brand of chocolate liqueur, feel free to use it. We are partial to Godiva chocolate liqueur, it’s creamy dark chocolate flavor is our favorite!
FROSTING – For convenience sake, we are using canned frosting from the grocery store. Since the goal is to get the cookie crumbs to stick to the cup, you could simply melt some chocolate chips instead.
COOKIES – We are using mint flavored OREO Thins Bites Fudge Dipped Chocolate Sandwich Cookies. If you have other thin mint cookies, like Girl Scouts or a generic brand, totally use them!
