This s’mores martini is a smooth and creamy dessert cocktail that tastes like the classic campfire treat! Whipped cream vodka, half and half, and chocolate liqueur make it rich and decadent.

Why this recipe works
Smoretini, s’mores martini, whatever you call it… It’s absolutely divine. A combination of whipped cream vodka, chocolate liqueur, plus half and half for a creamy edge is what starts the foundation of this dessert cocktail. But what really sets it apart is the garnish!
To me, the presentation is just as important for this cocktail as the flavor. I mean honestly, you could shake up the ingredients above and someone could argue that it’s just a variation of a chocolate martini. The marshmallow and graham cracker rim really dresses it up, but the dipped and roasted marshmallow garnish truly pushes this drink over the edge. All those toasty campfire treat flavors are essential, and that means we’re getting creative with what goes on top!

Ingredient Info and Substitution Suggestions
VODKA – Several S’mores Martini recipes call for Marshmallow Vodka. Sadly, that’s not really available anymore, except on a couple online shops. Smirnoff replaced their marshmallow vodka with whipped cream flavored vodka, as it has a very similar flavor profile. You can also use vanilla vodka in a pinch.
LIQUEUR – Instead of chocolate liqueur, creme de cacao can be used. Please note that this liqueur comes in a brown version as well as a clear version. They taste pretty much the same, but since vodka is clear, we suggest going with the brown creme de cacao.
HALF AND HALF – Half and half is exactly what it sounds like, equal parts heavy cream and whole milk. You can make it yourself if you can’t find it in stores! Otherwise, you can substitute with heavy cream for a richer, creamier consistency.

To Make the Garnishes
- Dip one end of the marshmallow in melted chocolate bar.

- Lift out and dip the end with the melted chocolate into the graham cracker crumbs.

- Place on waxed paper, crumb side up. Push a cocktail pick into the crumb end of the marshmallow and push it to the center of the stick.
- Use a kitchen torch to carefully roast the plain end of the marshmallow.

To Make the Martinis
- Place marshmallow fluff onto a shallow plate. Carefully mix in the water to thin the fluff.
- Place graham cracker crumbs on a second plate.

- Dip the rim of the glass into the marshmallow fluff and then into the graham cracker crumbs.

- Fill cocktail shaker halfway with ice. Add whipped cream vodka, chocolate liqueur, and half and half.

- Shake ingredients for 15-20 seconds. Strain into martini glasses.

Frequently Asked Questions & Expert Tips
It doesn’t have to! I would consider this more of a dessert martini that uses vodka instead of the traditional gin or vermouth like you’d find in classic martinis.
This cocktail is chocolate-forward with a subtle bite. The whipped cream vodka adds a touch of warm marshmallow-vanilla flavor alongside the chocolate liqueur. Half and half is used to make it creamy and decadent. The remaining s’mores flavors comes from the addition of either marshmallow fluff or marshmallow creme on the rim and crushed graham crackers on top!

Serving Suggestions
Serve your s’mores martini with a marshmallow creme or marshmallow fluffed dipped rim along with some crushed graham crackers and a chocolate dipped marshmallow. This cocktail really shines with its garnishes!
If you are going to make the garnishes (why not, they’re so fun!), you can make them ahead of time or make them right before shaking. Enjoy!

The recipes on this blog are tested with a conventional gas oven and gas stovetop. It’s important to note that some ovens, especially as they age, can cook and bake inconsistently. Using an inexpensive oven thermometer can assure you that your oven is truly heating to the proper temperature. If you use a toaster oven or countertop oven, please keep in mind that they may not distribute heat the same as a conventional full sized oven and you may need to adjust your cooking/baking times. In the case of recipes made with a pressure cooker, air fryer, slow cooker, or other appliance, a link to the appliances we use is listed within each respective recipe. For baking recipes where measurements are given by weight, please note that results may not be the same if cups are used instead, and we can’t guarantee success with that method.
