Perfectly crispy bone-in air fryer chicken wings are a quick and easy appetizer or main dish that’s whipped up in under 20 minutes total!
Why this recipe works
One of the main reasons we love this recipe is the fact that they only take 12 minutes to air fry and a few minutes to prep. Making chicken wings in the air fryer is not just convenient, but a super quick and easy way to create the crispiest wings!
We’ve tried air fryer chicken thighs and air fryer chicken breasts already, so we knew it was time to make classic chicken wings. This recipe quickly became one of our favorite appetizers to make for football get-togethers.
Ingredients you will need

CHICKEN – You will need 2 lbs of chicken wings, also known as wingettes. We suggest you get the wingettes as these are already broken down for you as opposed to whole chicken wings.
OIL – Olive oil is simply used to help your dry rub stick to the wings.
SEASONINGS – Using pre-made poultry seasoning makes this recipe a cinch to whip up and serve in under 15 minutes. Or you can use a mixture of salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder to season with. Throw some paprika into the mix for added flavor, or dabble with some lemon pepper seasoning if you’d like!
