Frequently Asked Questions
We don’t recommend cook and serve pudding for this dessert. Instant pudding is best, sugar free or regular are fine.
We use plain Greek yogurt for a thicker dessert. If you prefer a looser consistency, use regular plain yogurt. Using vanilla flavored yogurt is really overkill on this already sweet dessert. Only venture into flavored yogurts if you enjoy very sweet desserts!
No you do not need the milk from the pudding box, only the dry mix is needed.

This can’t possibly right.
13.4 ozs of instant pudding?
I used 153 grams and it was way too much. I wasted a lot of yogurt to make it palatable and even then it was way too sweet
What went wrong?

I’m terribly sorry. That was listed as ONE 34 ounce box, but I can totally see how that would be confusing. :( I have corrected the recipe and hope you will give it another go!

Is this something I could put in a graham cracker crust?
Amanda Formaro says
It’s a bit loose for a graham cracker crust.

If I wanted to make this an “adult” dessert, I could add some coconut rum. What is a good amount to give it a little kick? Suggestions welcome!

i only had plain yogurt so i strained it in a fine mesh sieve to make it thicker. i also strained the pineapple and omitted all its juice. the end result was still abit loose but not watery or runny, i dont think it would’ve been appealing if i hadn’t strained everything. over all easy and very tasty, nice treat for hot days.
