I’ve taken my favorite chocolate chip cookie recipe and given it a fun, kid-friendly Halloween twist with these adorable Monster Eyeball Cookie Pops! But that’s not all. Let’s make it even more fun by serving a delicious glass of chocolate milk in a super easy monster themed glass!
I’m so excited to partner with my friends at The National Milk Life Campaign to bring you this super cute Halloween treat, a fun twist on our favorite traditional cookies and milk!
Monster Eyeball Cookie Pops & Monster Chocolate Milk
Ever since I was a little girl I’ve just known that nothing beats cookies and milk! I have fond memories of dunking soft chocolate chip cookies into a mug of cold milk. Chocolate milk is my favorite, but I love them both! My mom never had a problem pouring us kids a glass of chocolate milk. It was something we loved and she knew it had the nutrients we needed.
Dietary guidelines recommend that kids get between two and three cups of milk and milk products a day, depending on their age. Chocolate milk counts as a serving of dairy. Just like classic milk, it provides the same 9 essential nutrients in each 8-ounce glass, including 8 grams of high-quality protein, to help fuel your Halloween shenanigans!
Many leading health and nutrition organizations, including the American Academy of Pediatrics, agree that chocolate milk is a positive trade-off for soft drinks, which are the primary source of added sugars in children’s diets.
To have some fun with chocolate milk, the official drink of Halloween, let’s make these super fun Monster Eyeball Cookie Pops and monster eyeball glasses of chocolate milk!

Instructions for Monster Eyeball Cookie Pops
- Preheat oven to 350 F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl combine both flours, baking soda, baking powder, and Kosher salt.
- In a separate mixing bowl, cream together butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar.
- Add egg and vanilla extract and mix until combined well.
- Stir in dry ingredients.
- Add chocolate chips and stir until combined.
- Measure out 3 tablespoons of dough and roll it into a ball. Place 4 balls of dough onto the sheet, two at each end, offset (so that sticks don’t hit cookies, see next step).
- Insert lollipop sticks about 3/4 way into the cookie ball.
- Bake for 13-15 minutes, or until edges are just starting to turn golden brown and centers are set.
- Remove from oven and place pan on wire rack. Use the edge of a spatula to shape any cookies that spread out of shape.
- Add candy eyeballs to the cookies while they are still hot! (You CAN add the candy eyeballs before baking, but they melt a little, so they look much better if added after baking!)
- Let cool for five minutes before moving to the cooling rack to cool completely.
Milk, including chocolate milk, provides 8 times more naturally occurring, high-quality protein than most almond and rice milks in every 8-ounce glass, and is one of the original farm-to-table foods, a wholesome and simple, minimally-processed beverage.
Decorate your monster glasses of chocolate milk:
Cut out the eyeball printables you can find here. Let kids choose the eyeballs they like best, then roll pieces of scotch tape to stick them to the glasses! Pour in delicious chocolate milk and serve with a Halloween straw and a Monster Eyeball Cookie Pop!
