Air fryer lamb chops are quick, easy, and so flavorful with a simple marinade of garlic salt, fresh rosemary, paprika, olive oil, and liquid smoke. They’re ready in a total of 20 minutes or less!
Why this recipe works
Though we love a gorgeous pan-seared lamb chop, we’re never not on the hunt for quicker alternatives for some of our favorite dishes. Air fryer lamb chops create less of a mess with the same juicy, tender results as the oven-baked and pan-seared methods. Plus, they only take 10 minutes to prep and 10 minutes to cook.

Ingredient Info and Substitution Suggestions
LAMB – Look for chops that are around 1 – 1 1/2 inches thick, with nice white fat. Remove your lamb chops from the refrigerator about 30 minutes before cooking. Letting your lamb reach room temperature allows the meat to relax, compared to when it’s cold, it tenses up. Lamb is a meat that cooks quickly and can dry out easily, therefore it’s best to have it at room temperature so that it evenly cooks.

Ray Charron- Barrie (ON) Canada says
I personally hate lamb but occasionally make it for my wife. She tends to be a bit picky even though she knows I’m not savvy to lamb prep and presentation. As you know lamb is fattier than beef and God only knows that a good night is when I don’t almost burn the house down.
We recently and finally bought in to the air-fryer fad and having heard from friends how their lamb turned out so well, I was willing to give it a go. Although I admit not following your recipe religiously, I must admit that this one was a stand-up triple, if not darn close to a home run. Rest assured I’ll be looking at your site again, and talking it up amongst friends and family. Keep up the good work!
P,S: I tend to be one of those “marinate any meat for at-least several hours before cooking”, kind-of people, so you might want to suggest a variation to your marinade above, which would do well o/nite in the fridge (evidently it would need to be flavored vinegar-based, and not oil-based). Cheers RC
