Ingredient Info and Substitution Suggestions
LIQUEUR – We prefer vanilla vodka here, but you can easily substitute with regular vodka. You will also need Kahlua coffee liqueur.
COFFEE – Our favorite iced coffee for this cocktail is Dunkin’ Donuts Mocha flavor, the kind you can purchase at the grocery store. Using the store-bought iced coffee makes this recipe a breeze because there’s no need to add extra sweeteners. You can use whatever your favorite is! If you decide to use plain black iced coffee you may want to adjust the sweetness by adding flavored coffee creamer or simple syrup to the mix, if that’s how you enjoy it. You can also make some of your own cold brew coffee at home to use in this cocktail!

Frequently Asked Questions & Expert Tips
You can opt for regular milk or almond milk, it just won’t be as creamy as half-and-half. For an even creamier experience you can substitute with heavy cream. Though I would suggest adding a small amount at a time and adjusting as needed because it’s much richer.Â
Yes, absolutely. Either caffeinated or decaf coffee will work perfectly fine in this drink.
Serving Suggestions
We mentioned summer above, but really, a spiked iced coffee can be enjoyed year-round, especially for the iced coffee lovers out there! Enjoy with an optional garnish of whipped cream, shaved chocolate, or a light dusting of cocoa powder.
