This Holiday Detox Drink is quick to whip up and so refreshing. With pomegranate and mint, it’s the perfect hydration for after those heavy holiday meals.
Holiday Detox Drink
With the holidays rolling around, I’m already planning out which stretchy pants will look nice while also allowing maximum room for the very full belly that’s bound to ensue. And while I wouldn’t change a thing about that so-full-you-could-burst post-meal feeling (that’s part of the holidays!) I do like to prep some helpful remedies for after the overindulgence.
My usual go-to is a healthy green smoothie, which packs in a lot of hydration and nutrients. But for an even easier recipe, I like to make this Holiday Detox Water! It has just four ingredients and is so refreshing after a big meal.
Making this Holiday Detox Drink is ultra-simple. You’ll add some fresh mint to a pitcher. Gently muddle it with the end of a wooden spoon to release some of those delicious minty oils. Then add pomegranate seeds, honey (if you want it), and water.
Stir to mix it all together and drink up, adding a bit of ice if you want it nice and cold. I love drinking this minty fresh water right after a big holiday meal, or even during the festivities (the pomegranate makes it so colorful!)
To make this Holiday Detox Drink you’ll need:
- 4 sprigs fresh mint
- 1 cup pomegranate seeds
- 1 Tbsp honey
- 4 cups water

Now sit back, relax, and unwind after the holidays!
While we’re on the topic of detox drinks, this cranberry smoothie is another great option. With frozen cranberries, nutrient-packed spinach and flax seeds, this cranberry detox smoothie the perfect smoothie recipe to keep in your back pocket as the holiday season approaches.
While we have lots of great drink ideas on the blog, this cranberry prosecco punch is great for Thanksgiving morning or a crisp evening around a campfire with friends. It’s the perfect fall cocktail!
