Ingredient Info and Substitution Suggestions
STEAK – Chef Antoine suggests that when cutting and trimming the roast, try to cut along the fat lines and then trim. This will give you the most tender cubes without fat or connective tissue running through your cubes of meat.
GARLIC – We are using jarred minced garlic for convenience. You can absolutely substitute with fresh minced garlic if preferred, though the measurements will vary if doing so.
BUTTER – We use salted butter in our savory recipes and unsalted butter in our sweet dessert recipes. For savory recipes you can use either one. If you want to use salted butter, we suggest adjusting how much regular salt you incorporate into the meal.

Frequently Asked Questions & Expert Tips
Store leftovers in an air-tight container kept in the refrigerator for 3-4 days. Steak bites can be tricky to reheat because of their size and how easy they are to overcook in the process. I would recommend reheating them in the oven at 275F until warmed through. Low and slow is your best bet!
You’ll want to stick to lean, tender cuts when making steak bites. Sirloin is your best bet for this, however, tenderloin and ribeye are other great options.
Serving Suggestions
Serve garlic butter steak bites with rice, pasta, or mashed potatoes or simply pair them with roasted veggies on the side. Think green beans, broccoli, bell peppers, Brussels sprouts, asparagus, carrots, or roasted sweet potatoes.
Garlic butter steak bites also make a nice appetizer. Stick a toothpick in each steak bite and serve on a platter!
