If your kids love sliders, they are going to flip when you bring out these Pizza Sliders! It’s an easy and delicious meal or potluck contribution – just don’t plan on having any leftovers.
Pizza Sliders Recipe
While this slider recipe is best prepared the night before, it can also be thrown together in minutes for a quick weeknight meal. It’s also great when you realize you were supposed to be bringing something to that get-together today! No one turns up their noses at these Pizza Sliders, but you can easily swap out the pepperoni for any other meat (or even some sauted vegetables).

Ingredients you will need:
- 1 package dinner rolls
- 2 cups mozzarella cheese
- Small package pepperoni slices
- 1/4 cup pizza sauce
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 2 teaspoons oregano

- You can assemble these ahead of time and pop in the oven when you’re ready!
- Replace pepperoni with pizza sausage or add in green peppers and mushrooms.
How to Make Pizza Sliders
- Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Once melted, remove from heat to prevent scorching.
- Slice the buns across the middle and set the tops to the side.
- Spread the tomato sauce over the bottom sections of the buns and place into a 13×9 baking dish.
- Spread 1 cup of mozzarella cheese over the top of the sauce.
- Layer the pepperoni slices to make one full layer over the top of the cheese.
- Sprinkle with remaining 1 cup mozzarella cheese.
- Place tops of rolls back on and drizzle with melted butter.
- Sprinkle on oregano and cover with aluminum foil.
- At this point, if preparing the night before, refrigerate until ready to cook.
- Once ready to cook, preheat oven to 350 F.
- Bake sandwiches for 20 minutes until cheese is melted and butter has been fully absorbed, resulting in golden sandwich tops. Cut into portions and serve.

Looking for something to take to a family reunion, several hours away. How do these hold up after cooking?

If you are able to assemble them and bake there, that’s your best bet. If not, they will hold up like any other leftover. Wrap in foil to reheat.

Eating these now and they are so simple and delicious. I baked my pepperoni before hand cause I wanted a crispier pepperoni. I used marinara sauce and added pickles for a little zing. Soooo good!
