Equipment
Ingredients
- 1 pound bacon
- Montreal Steak seasoning optional
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400 F. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil.
- Lay bacon on the baking sheet so they are not touching each other.
- If you like, season the bacon with Montreal Steak Seasoning. This is purely optional.
- Cook in preheated oven for 10-15 minutes, keeping an eye on it and taking it out when it looks done. All ovens vary as do the thickness of bacon slices.
- Drain on paper towels.
Notes
- We like to season our bacon with different flavored seasonings. We’ve used Montreal Steak Seasoning, a bourbon smokehouse flavored seasoning and many others. Play around and experiment!
- When it comes to what kind of bacon you should use, the answer is simply whatever is your favorite. We stuck to classic-cut bacon, but thick-cut works as well. The bake time will depend on the thickness of your bacon slices.
