Combine garlic salt, pepper, and onion powder in a small bowl.
Sprinkle chicken breasts with seasoning mixture. You may not use it all.
Cook chicken on grill, turning occasionally, until internal temperature reaches 165 F, about 10-12 minutes depending on the thickness of your breasts.
If you like, toast the buns on the grill. Use your favorite toppings to complete your sandwich.

Because this sandwich is loaded with toppings we kept it nice and simple with garlic salt, black pepper, and onion powder. However, you can easily substitute with your favorite spice blend. For a spicy grilled chicken sandwich, try it with Cajun seasoning.
