Ingredients
- 4 ounces gin
- 2 Tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 Tablespoon simple syrup
- 1-2 Tablespoons club soda
- ice
Instructions
- Fill a Collins glass ¾ full of ice and set aside.
- Add at least 1 cup of ice into a cocktail shaker and pour in all ingredients except for the club soda.
- Shake until chilled then strain into your prepared glass.
- Top with a splash of club soda (or more if desired) and serve.
Notes
- Choose your favorite London dry gin for your Tom Collins cocktail. Tanqueray is what we used and is a popular choice for this sipper. Other good options are Hayman's Old Tom Gin, Bombay, or Beefeater.
- Fresh lemon juice is best for optimal flavor. One lemon should yield enough juice for one cocktail.
