This recipe will yield 2-4 cocktails, depending on the size of your martini glasses. Our glasses were 8 ounces, and the mixture just about filled 4 glasses.
Sliced frozen strawberries will be easier to blitz in a blender compared to whole strawberries. I recommend using a high powered blender such as Vitamix.
I like to use silver tequila in ours as it's clean and crisp, but reposado is another good choice.
You can easily substitute with fresh strawberries, just increase the amount of ice you use to be around 3-4 cups, or until the desired consistency is reached.
We prefer to salt the rim of margaritas, particularly with rimming salt, but you can easily substitute with granulated sugar if that's what you prefer. If you don't have rimming salt, you can use kosher salt or sea salt. Tajin or chili lime salt are also popular options.
