Salmon Marinade

Ingredients
- 1 ½ Tablespoons butter room temperature
- 2 teaspoons garlic salt
- 1 ½ teaspoons black pepper
- 1 Tablespoons Italian seasoning
- 2 teaspoons paprika
- 1 Tablespoon minced garlic
- 2 Tablespoons lemon juice
- ¼ cup olive oil
Instructions
- Add all ingredients to an immersion blender.
- Blend until smooth.
- To use the marinade, cover fish in marinade and allow to sit in the refrigerator for one hour before cooking.
Notes
- This recipe yields 1/2 cup of salmon marinade which is enough for 1 1/2 pounds to 2 pounds of center-cut salmon (or filets). It is listed as 4 servings, you should get 4 filets out of a 1 1/2 pound center-cut salmon.
- Double or triple the recipe as needed.
- You can use this marinade with just about any kind of cooking method.
- For this salmon marinade in particular, we suggest 30 minutes to an hour as it's acid based. Any longer than that and you risk the salmon becoming mushy after breaking down from the acidity.
