Whisk 1 1/2 teaspoons of cornstarch and 3 Tablespoons of water together to create a slurry then combine it with the marinade in a skillet. Heat until thickened and pour over the chicken.

This marinade will coat 2 - 2 1/4 pounds of boneless skinless chicken breasts or about 3 pounds of skin on bone-in chicken thighs.
