Step aside store-bought dressing, because this homemade blue cheese dressing is even creamier and rich in flavor than the pre-bottled kind could ever wish for.
In a medium bowl, whisk together buttermilk and blue cheese crumbles.
Whisk in mayonnaise, sour cream, garlic powder, sugar, and white wine vinegar.
Cover bowl with plastic wrap and chill in the refrigerator for 2 hours before using to allow flavors to combine.
Stir before using and store in a covered glass jar in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
Notes
You can add more or less blue cheese crumbles depending on your tastes.
Along with the sour cream and mayonnaise, the buttermilk is what creates the creamy base. If you find that your dressing is too thick for your liking, add an extra splash to thin it out.
