Homemade french fry sauce is made with mayo, ketchup, and pickle juice then spiced with paprika, onion powder, and seasoned salt. It's slightly creamy with just a touch of tang from the pickle juice.
In a bowl, whisk together mayo, ketchup, onion powder, seasoned salt and paprika.
Stir in pickle juice. If you would like a thinner sauce, feel free to add another tsp of pickle juice.
Once everything is well mixed, store in an airtight container in your refrigerator until you are ready to serve.
Notes
Store the sauce in an air-tight container or mason jar in the refrigerator for up to 1 month.
You can easily incorporate heat by adding a few dashes of hot sauce or cayenne pepper to the mix. Feel free to add in a bit of Worcestershire sauce as well, but depending on the amount you add, you may need a bit more mayo to thicken it up.
If you have allergies to cucumbers/pickles, try horseradish sauce or apple cider vinegar instead.
We used dill pickle juice, but you can use bread and butter or other sweet pickle juice if desired.
