If you need a super fast dessert, this pineapple yogurt dessert takes less than 10 minutes and just needs to chill for a bit before you dig in! Great for potlucks, parties, and last minute guests.
3.4ounces box instant vanilla pudding mixdry mix only
20ozcan crushed pineapplein juice, undrained
Optional topping ideas:
sweetened flaked coconut
pineapple wedges
granola
sliced almonds
sliced strawberries
blueberries
Instructions
Combine yogurt and dry vanilla pudding mix together in a large bowl.
Stir until all traces of pudding mix have disappeared.
Stir in the pineapple, including the juice, until well combined.
Cover and refrigerate for 3 hours.
Notes
We don’t recommend cook and serve pudding for this dessert. Instant pudding is best, sugar free or regular are fine.
We use plain Greek yogurt for a thicker dessert. If you prefer a looser consistency, use regular plain yogurt. Using vanilla flavored yogurt is really overkill on this already sweet dessert. Only venture into flavored yogurts if you enjoy very sweet desserts!
