Ingredients

ripe avocado
1
tablespoon
fresh cilantro
chopped
Juice from 1/2 of a lime
Sea Salt
Freshly ground black pepper

bread

clove
garlic
peeled and halved

tablespoons
olive oil or softened butter
Crushed red pepper flakes
optional
Instructions
Cut the avocado in half, remove the pit, scoop the avocado from the skin, and place in a small bowl.
Mash the avocado with a fork.
Stir in the chopped cilantro and lime juice.
Season with salt and black pepper.
Toast the bread and rub each slice with the cut side of the garlic.
Brush toast with oil or softened butter. Season with salt and pepper.
Gently spread mashed avocado mixture evenly on each toast slice and season with more salt and pepper if desired.
Sprinkle with red pepper flakes.
Notes
Serve with an egg on top for additional protein!
