Toss in a casserole dish with olive oil, salt, and pepper. Preheat the air fryer to 400F.
Add the asparagus to the air fryer grate evenly.
Air Fry for 9 minutes, shaking halfway through. For charred asparagus, increase to 12 minutes.
Top with parmesan cheese, lemon juice, or parsley.
Notes
The woody roots (the white portion at the end of the asparagus) will need to be snapped or cut off before cooking. Hold your asparagus at both ends and do a quick but firm snap about 2 inches from the bottom. It should break right off! You can also cut the ends of your asparagus with a kitchen knife.
