Ingredients
2
russet potatoes
depending on the size, you may be able to fit more
1/4
cup
vegetable oil
or olive oil
1
tsp
salt
1/2
tsp
freshly ground black pepper
Instructions
Wash and dry your potatoes with cool water and a soft bristled brush.
Rub the potatoes with oil and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
Place as many as can fit into the air fryer. Mine were extra large and could only fit two at a time.
Air Fry on 400F for 40-50 minutes, on the longer side for larger potatoes.
There's no need to flip, rotate, or perforate holes in the potatoes. Potatoes should be fork tender with crispy outside skin when fully cooked.
Notes
Cook time may vary between different air fryers, you should be able to tell when your potato is done when it is fork-tender and the skin is crispy.
Top your potatoes with a slab of butter, sour cream, chives, and crumbled bacon for the ultimate baked potato experience.
