Air Fryer Churros

HOW TO MAKE

Delicious golden brown cinnamon sugar-coated air fryer churros are a sweet treat you don't have to feel so guilty about anymore!

WHAT YOU NEED

water butter sugar salt flour cinnamon

In saucepan over medium-high heat, heat water, butter, sugar, and salt, bring to a boil.

1

Reduce heat to low, add flour and mix continuously until the dough forms and is smooth.

2

Remove from heat and allow the dough to cool for 5 minutes, then add eggs and whisk until mixture is smooth with no lumps. Dough will be sticky.

3

Transfer to a piping bag fitted with a closed star tip.

4

Pipe dough into 4-inch lengths onto the prepared cookie sheet. Pop into the freezer for about 30 minutes or until the dough is easy to handle

5

Carefully transfer piped churro dough into the Air fryer basket, cook 8-10 minutes, until golden brown. Depending on the size of the Air Fryer, you may have to do this in batches.

6

In a medium shallow bowl, mix sugar with cinnamon.

7

Once churros are done, immediately coat with cinnamon sugar whilst still hot. Serve warm with your choice of dipping sauce.

8

Air Fryer Churros taste just as good as the deep-fried version. Soft and tender inside with a slightly crunchy outside.

– Make sure there is enough space between the churros. Do not overcrowd the Air Fryer.
