Milkshakes and coffee. Um, yeah! Definitely a winning combination in this house. I love hot coffee in the morning, iced coffee for an afternoon refresher, and now a milkshake for after dinner? Yum! What I love best about this shake recipe is that it’s totally adaptable to your favorite coffee flavors and add-ins. This post brought to you by Kraft Foods. All opinions are 100% mine.
Recently I found out that WalMart’s website now houses tons of recipes courtesy of Kraft Foods Everyday Delicious. I was browsing through and printed off several ideas for dinner, desserts and even lunch and breakfast. There’s plenty there! You could even plan your entire week’s dinner and lunch menu without going anywhere else.
If you prefer to save your recipes for later on a Pinterest pin board like I do, simply use the share buttons at the bottom of each recipe! While I was browsing around, I came across a recipe for Coffee House Milkshakes. I had everything on hand so I whipped them up. I actually used hazelnut flavored coffee for my shake, but you could use any combination of coffee flavor and syrup that suits you.
You can also serve them plain as a shake…
Or dress them up with a little syrup…
Another option is to add a scoop of ice cream on top! These were delicious and my husband was in the kitchen looking for more when he finished his.
- 1 cup cooled brewed hazelnut flavored coffee
- 2 cups of vanilla ice cream
- 2 tablespoons chocolate syrup
- 2 Oreo cookies broken into pieces
- Place all ingredients into a blender and blend on high until creamy. Serve!
