It’s here, 2013, a new year and a fresh start! I’m looking forward to trying plenty of new recipes this year, the slow cooker will be used a lot more and I really need to dust off my pressure cooker too. I need to bake more and now that the weather is cold, it’s a great time to fire up the oven and fill the house with the smell of home baked bread!
I posted quite a few new recipes this past year. Among my personal favorites were these Sugar Crusted Plum Muffins, this Cheesy Bacon Potato Frittata and these Ham & Cheese Pretzel Roll Sandwiches. I think for favorite ice cream recipe of 2012 it was a tie between this Mocha Chocolate Chip Ice Cream and the Peanut Butter Fudge Cookie Ice Cream which uses those delicious chocolate covered peanut butter cookies from the Girl Scouts. My all time favorite post of 2012 was about my mom who passed away when I was 23. I baked a cake in her honor, you can read about it here – Classic Yellow Cake: Dedicated to the Memory of My Mother.
Thank you all so much for a great year at Amanda’s Cookin’, I’m so looking forward to this year! So without further delay, here were the 10 most popular posts from recipes posted during 2012.

1. Cheesy Bacon Potato Frittata

Great list. I’ve been too busy and lazy to put one together from my blog. But love seeing those Big Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies on yours! ;) Love that we got to meet. You’d be welcome as a guest at our house anytime.
And seeing this reminded me that I really want to try that cassata cake and will have to pass on the onion focaccia bread. (hehe) Love ya!
I will surely make the Neapolitan Cheesecake, looks soooooo good!
Cheesy Bacon Potato Frittata = my favorite!
Great list. Everything is on my “want to bake” list!!! Happy New Year Amanda :)
