Thoughts on Lowering the Sugar - AmandasCookin.com

You might remember back in September I was asked to try a new sweetener called Nectresse. I decided to do a makeover on one of my recipes that we absolutely love here and see what the verdict was. The test was a huge success as you can see from my Sugar Free Peach-Pear Crisp.

Because it was received so well, I got to thinking about all of the desserts I’ve made over the years and which ones I’d like to make over next with NECTRESSE™Sweetener!

I don’t usually buy artificial sweeteners, but Nectresse is actually the only 100% natural sweetener made from fruit. It comes from monk fruit and can be found in just about any grocery store.

If you aren’t quite sure, I encourage you to have a look at this video from Lisa Ling, well known media correspondent.

I think these would be great guinea pigs!

Do you have any recipes in your arsenal that you would like to give a makeover?

They have a special container for measuring and baking as well as individual packets for sweetening tea and coffee. No added calories, unlike sugar! So?
