Top 10 Recipes of 2011

2011 has been a great year for Amanda’s Cookin’. 142 more posts since 2010, and hundreds more thank you’s to hand out! This year was a fun one for me. At the end of the summer I was finally able to move the blog to WordPress. That also allowed me to provide you will a recipe index and better printable versions. This blog has grown by 150% since the previous year and I can’t thank all of you enough for visiting and trying my recipes!

I’m excited about the new year to come and all the new recipes I have been saving to try. When putting this post together, I was surprised to see that the #3 most popular was my lasagna, which I added when I first started this blog. It has been in the top 10 every year! There are a couple other repeats from last year’s top 10 as well.

Bruschetta an Olive Garden Copycat
Bruschetta – This is way better than any bruschetta I’ve ever had at a restaurant.

Perfect Sunday Roast
Perfect Sunday Roast – The best! In fact, It’s on my menu next week.

Pineapple Upside Down Cake
Pineapple Upside Down Cake – Been making this for years. Hubby’s fave.

pink peppermint ice cream
Homemade Peppermint Ice Cream – I have made this more times than I can count. Yum!

English Trifle Cheesecake

English Trifle Cheesecake – I haven’t actually made this a second time,but plan to. So incredibly good. A hit with everyone!

Beef Stir Fry with Tomatoes and Peppers – Made this numerous times. In fact, made this the other night and substituted some brown gravy sauce I found in the Oriental section of the grocery store. Fabulous!

Farfalle with Green Beans and Pecans in Fire Roasted Tomato Sauce – Have made this probably 20 times! LOVE – it’s my favorite pasta.

Homemade Salsa from Canned Tomatoes – Hundreds of times. Nuff said.

    Everything looks scrumptious. I have candy canes left and should make that peppermint ice cream. My daughter loves mint!

    All of these recipes look awesome! I really need to try the ice cream ones! I always make the standard vanilla or the easy orange sherbet.
